Yesterday, my sweet friend Erica, owner of Black Creek Flowers and Sweets, called me.

“What are you doing today?” She asked.

“Editing some photos, doing an online webinar.” I responded.

“I made something awesome. Would you want to come photograph it?”

Of course, when your talented friend tells you this, you stop what you’re doing and go see what she’s been up to!

I was blown away by what Erica and her assistant Ashley created. She had some leftover florals from last weekend’s weddings, and on a whim they put this together. I absolutely love the color of the roses, the softness of the hydrangeas, and how the use of the peaches ties everything together. And that ladder? Genius!  —

Since tomorrow is the Fourth of July, I’m taking a three day weekend to celebrate with my husband and our families, so there won’t be a blog post tomorrow. Happiest of holiday celebrations to y’all! Stay safe, and give thanks to The Lord for the life of liberty and freedom we’ve been blessed with because of those who have sacrificed everything for us! <3
