About a year ago, we received news from some dear friends of ours that they were going to try to have their first baby. To say I was ecstatic would be an understatement. Ashley and Don are such loving people. They are the drop everything they’re doing to be there when you need them kind of friends. So of course, when we got the call that they were pregnant, we were so thrilled for them.

Then, a few short months ago, we found out the gender. A sweet baby girl, and she will be called Nicole. Appropriately, I have nicknamed her Minnie, since we will share a name.

Maternity portraits are such a special and intimate occasion for a mother to be. These are images I hope she, Don, and little Miss Minnie will enjoy for years to come.
