Last spring, during my student teaching, I received an inquiry from a woman named Amanda that I was super excited about. I never met this girl, but from the way she talked about her fiancé and described her wedding day, I knew I wanted to be a part of her life by way of photographing her love story. A few weeks later, I was in the copy room at the school where I interned, and spoke with a lovely lady casually about the internship and life. She later mentioned she was getting married and I revealed that I was a wedding photographer. She asked my name, and when I told her and she introduced herself we both realized that she was the woman who had sent me that inquiry just a few weeks prior. It was the most amazing instance of fate! A date at Starbucks later, we were officially official and I couldn’t wait for she and Brian’s engagement session! It seems like the summer months flew by, and last sunday it was finally time for us to meet at Libby Hill Park to capture this amazing time in their lives. Amanda and Brian, you guys are incredible, and I’m so excited to photograph your Hanover Tavern wedding next year!  Amanda, you are so beautiful. Your smile and laughter are so genuine!  Love the pumpkins for their save the dates!  Between the greenery and the stone walls, it felt like we were outside of London rather than overlooking Richmond. I have such an appreciation for living here because of the variety she offers in terms of photography locations!  Favorites. Amanda smiles and she means it!  In honor of their respective schools, VCU and UVA.  I love the colors here!  Swoon! Brian loves his girl! Amanda & Brian are also training for the half marathon in November, so they brought along their running shoes.  Handsome, Brian!
