My brother is preparing to become a father for the first time, and it’s been an incredible thing to watch. He and my sister-in-law, Jennie (who you might recognize as one of my second shooters from this past year) have been waiting on this sweet girl for a long time, and God has been so faithful in their journey. I can’t wait to meet Reagan in March and watch two of my favorite people be transformed into parents!

We decided to photograph these images at Ardlie, Jennie’s late Grandma’s farmhouse. It was so special to Jennie that we capture her preparing quietly for this new life in her Grandma’s favorite chair.  This reminds us of The Family Stone, one of our favorite movies!
