Waking up Friday with these images waiting in my email felt like Christmas morning, like Santa had visited and brought with him incredible images from PhotoVision!
If you read my post on experimenting with film, you know that these images below were a labor of love. When first shooting film, I made mistakes and I’m sure I have plenty more to make. I gladly accept the challenge because to me it is totally worth it to feel as inspired as I am by these images. I am grabbing onto film and never looking back! For current and future clients, this means that you will receive a combination of both digital and film images from now on (more on what it means to become a hybrid photographer in a later post).
I am so excited for this journey, and ELATED to share my first film scans with you today!
All scans shot with a Mamiya 645 with either Fuji 400H or Kodak Portra 400 film. Developed and scanned by PhotoVision.
A huge thank you is owed to Laura Gordon for helping me figure out my camera during the Envision Workshop. I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from you!
Beautiful!!!! Great job Nikki!
