July 28th, 2013.

The date is a special one, the day that will commemorate Matt and I’s first wedding anniversary.

For Courtney & Aaron, the day will be even more magical. Not only are they getting married on that day, but Courtney’s parents AND grandparents also got married on July 28.

How amazing is that! To share an anniversary date with the people in your life who are your role models in marriage? To follow in their footsteps and share in their traditions. It is going to be a wonderful day for sure, and I’m honored they have invited me to be a part of it!

Courtney and Aaron were troopers on Saturday, braving the fickle Virginia weather, scheduling around rainstorms, and climbing fences into muddy pastures. They never once complained, but rather were just elated to be finally able to take these pictures they have been waiting so long for. Enjoy some of my favorite images from this engagement session!
