We spent the months ahead of our trip to Northern Italy in disbelief that it was actually happening. The trip was a literally dream. We would spend ten days traveling through Lake Como, Milan and surrounding areas, and then top the trip off with a spa day in Iceland. Our days would be filled with the best handmade pasta, cappuccino, gelato, and vino rosso de la casa. I couldn’t wait to wander the cobblestone streets, to listen to the beautiful language and interact with the people. Truth be told, I was also elated for the opportunity to second shoot a wedding with the incomparable Shannon Moffit at Villa Cipressi while we were there (work hard, play hard!). I envisioned what it would be like to receive these film scans back from Photovision long before they ever came into my inbox, and they certainly didn’t disappoint. I hope to be transported back to these stunning Villas (Cipressi, Balbianello, Monastero, and Carlotta), even if only by memory, for decades to come simply by looking through these images.
