There are so many people in this industry who have taken the time to pour their knowledge and hearts into me and my business, so in the Spring I decided I wanted to send a special “Thank You” to some of these people. I wanted this to be a “homemade with love kind of project.”
Enter made from scratch sugar scrubs! The ones I sent in the packages were Coconut Lime, but when Alexandra asked me to share the recipe on her blog, we went with Pumpkin Spice to make it a little more seasonally appropriate.
Here are the recipes if you’d like to try them out at home. They make great teacher appreciation gifts, hostess gifts, or would definitely come in handy around the holidays since they are quickly approaching!
- 1 cup coconut oil (I recommend Trader Joe’s)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2 drops cinnamon essential oil (optional)
For the coconut recipe, substitute brown sugar for white granulated, eliminate the pumpkin pie spice, and add lime essential oil.
Yum that looks so good!
Oh how gorgeous! I’m going to have to make this now 😀
I heart you so much!! This was such a fun post!! I’m so happy you wanted to collaborate with me!! And can’t wait to do it again soon!! XOXO
Looks easy to make and looks as if it smells amazing!
