My friend and colleague, Stacy B., and I are both anxiously awaiting our wedding days. Hers is approaching much faster than mine (I believe she’s got about two weeks left) and I couldn’t be happier for her. It feels like just yesterday when we would get lost in conversations of when we thought the others’ beau would propose, and now, it’s nearly time to say I do. We’ve enjoyed conversations about wedding details, shared vendors, and given each other bridal support over the past few months. So, when she approached me and asked if I’d be willing to take her bridal portraits, I was thrilled.
We chose to do the shoot at Apple Blossom Plantation. The setting was beautiful, and the bride, breathtaking.
The lace detail was classic and elegant. Very fitting for Miss Stacy’s personality.
The green in the background perfectly complimented her hazel eyes.
I might have borrowed a fallen peony for the shoot. It’s the perfect type of delicate bloom for an occasion such as this. Shhh, don’t tell!
Stacy was an amazing subject, very easy to work with. She knew exactly how to pose, quite the pro. I am so happy with how the images turned out, and am thankful that Stacy allowed me to take part in her special day in this way. Cheers to you, my friend!
