Rachel, simply put, is stunning.
She and I first met while studying for our Masters in Elementary Education together at VCU.
And from the first time I met her, I thought she was beautiful.
Not only because of her brilliant blonde locks, but because of her earnest desire to be the best teacher for her students. She loves children, and she’s an amazing educator.
Rachel and Dan are getting married at Amber Grove in August, one of my all time favorite wedding venues. I first met the site coordinator, John, when Ashley and Charlie got married there two years ago. We have had the pleasure of going back several times since, including for Peter and Megan’s wedding last August.
Rachel, Dan, and I walked the grounds, taking in the southern charm of the estate, contemplating that, in just a few months, they would pledge their love, pledge their life to one another in this sacred spot.
Favorite ring shot. Ever.
My favorite, for sure. This shot happened so naturally, and I love the passion conveyed between them. And oh, be still my heart. A little magic sun-flare.
Rachel and Dan were great sports, braving the cold and bone-chilling wind during our session. While they changed in between shots, I admired the Christmas decor still hanging around the Inn.
Rachel and Dan, than you guys for braving the cold, and being so fabulously in love for this session. Ya’ll were naturals (Dan has the model look down!).
awwwww! i love amber grove! such a beautiful place! love the sunflare shots! 🙂
