These New Yorkers, now splitting their time between Alexandria and Charlottesville, VA, chose to bring
their loved ones to the beautiful countryside surrounding their new home for a celebration that felt
both personal and unforgettable. This Charlottesville wedding weekend embraced thoughtful design,
personal details and the warmth of a luxury fall wedding.
Rehearsal Dinner
For Jackie and Zach, choosing Keswick Hall at the Keswick Golf Club was an obvious decision. As
members of the club with a shared love for golf and tennis, this space felt like the perfect place to
welcome guests to their world just outside of Washington, DC. The design was relaxed yet refined and
set the tone for an unforgettable Charlottesville wedding weekend.

The Details
Every element of Jackie and Zach’s luxury fall wedding was intentional, from fashion to florals to paper
goods. Their inspiration was a cozy fall dinner party, elevated with timeless style and layered design.
One standout detail was their invitation suite, inspired by a vintage New Yorker cover, a nod to Zach’s
love to the publication and Jackie’s Upper West Side roots. Editorial flat lays highlighted the artistry and
intention of the suite.
Jackie wore a custom Anne Barge gown with a sculptural silhouette and intricate embroidery. Zach
paired his white dinner jacker with a black bow tie, a timeless, tailored look that felt classic and crisp.
The floral design captured the romance of the season without leaning into expected fall tones. Rich
orchids, ranunculus, and garden roses in wine, rust and golden hues brought texture and depth to every
arrangement throughout the day.

The Ceremony
Held beneath the trees at Boxwood Villa, Jackie and Zach’s ceremony felt like a modern-day fairytale.
Lush florals in deep burgundy, soft peach and olive peach lined the aisle. This blended seamlessly with
the natural landscape and set the stage for their “I do’s.”

Couple Portraits
Photographing Jackie and Zach was like stepping into a romantic film. Their portraits, set against peak
fall foliage and a custom editorial portrait backdrop, brought together warmth with timeless style and
the essence of a fall Charlottesville wedding.

The Reception
The reception unfolded beneath a tent, where warm lighting and rich textures created an inviting,
elevated dinner party atmosphere. Candlelit tablescapes, custom place cards and an ambient glow set
the mood for a night filled with heartfelt moments.
Catie, from Caitie Hanrahan Weddings and Events, flawlessly brought the design to life with her
incredible attention to detail.
From their first dance to Zach’s surprise serenade (a nod to his off-Broadway days), every detail of the
night reflected who they are.
