Oh, this couple, y’all. Charlotte and Nik have been together since middle school, a love story full of overcoming distance and obstacles. They quite literally grew up together, and they are all each other knows. Through faith, determination, and a whole lot of love, these two celebrated their first wedding anniversary this year!

This was not only a big year for them because of their anniversary, but Nik also finished Grad school in New York and was offered a position at Clemson, so he and Char packed up their lives and started over in South Carolina. They got their precious new pup, Ginny, and began their newest adventure.

It is an honor to photograph Char and Nik, not only because they are both so incredibly talented themselves (Charlotte is a photographer and Nik a videographer-DREAM TEAM!), but because Charlotte has been with me since I first started my photography journey. They were my very first engagement session, I photographed Charlotte’s bridal portraits, so I was elated when they asked me to document their anniversary. It’s been amazing and also humbling to follow their relationship and watch them grow also while my work has evolved.
