Some of life’s best adventures are the spontaneous, the unplanned. The kind where you jump in the car and just drive, with no true intentions or destination. One Sunday in October, Matt and I went on an unscheduled road trip to the mountains of Madison County to explore with my parents. What we found there we hadn’t been looking for, but at just the right time it found us. Peace amongst the busyness. A quiet moment together during a season where we’ve struggled to find just one intentional minute in each other’s company. Yes, this picture is blurry, but my sweet Mama stole my Mamiya away for one second so she could get a picture of Matt and me. I kind of love it. We rarely sit still, and this image suggests movement yet a rare moment of stillness captured almost unintentionally.
Looks like a lot of fun, and a lot of pretty fun to shoot on film <3
I LOVE Madison County! Especially in the Fall. Looks like fun!
