Mike was one of my closest friends in high school, so when his beautiful fiancé, Erin, approached me with an interest in photographing their wedding day, to say I was honored would be a huge understatement! It means the world to me when friends take an interest in my work and put their faith in me to cover their weddings. Of course, we began planning their engagement session right away!  They new they wanted to incorporate their pup in the session, and you know how I have a soft-spot for canines. Bo was more interested in exploring our session location, but he did put sniffing on hold long enough to pose for a few shots with his parents.  Fall is definitely the season for engagement photography. I love this ring shot!  Favorite!  We set her ring on a canon at the battlefield, and I think it’s the neatest thing that you can read the year inscribed-1863.  These images are my favorite. Mike & Erin, y’all are beautiful together! I can’t wait for your Outer Banks wedding next April!
