Melanie and Nate were to be married this July, but as everything else has been impacted by the events of this year, so was their original wedding date. Rather than let this week that was meant to be filled with love and celebration pass by, they decided to commemorate this season in their relationship with joy rather than dismay. Melanie has a unique perspective as both a 2020 bride and a wedding vendor herself, so she has been impacted doubly this year. Some fellow-friendors came together to love on her and Nate through this special shoot at The Virginia House.
Melanie wore a simple white linen jumpsuit from Loft that we absolutely adored. Olivera Floral Design used moody summer blooms to adorn the table styled for two by my dear friend, Taylor, of Alyson Taylor Events. We were all drooling over the delectable creation by Ellyn of Fat Rabbit Cakes, and Mel and Nate were able to toast using the gift of a bottle of Dom Perignon, given to them by a family member.
