We’ve had an incredibly busy month around here and I feel incredibly blessed by all the amazing things happening around me. From graduation, to the new house, to the website launch, to planning and introducing Shoot Share, to my first features being published, I’ve been delighting in it all to say the least.

I had a session this weekend that really made me step back and remember one of the reasons why I do this. This family is the absolute sweetest, and they’ve been going through some difficult stuff lately. After I PASSed her session to her, I received this message:

“You did such a wonderful job!  I can’t get over the pictures!  Thank you so much for really and truly capturing our family, especially my lil’ man!  He’s growing up sooo fast and it’s great to have his personality documented like this.  These images are treasures!  The pictures of Steve and I remind me of how we were when I was at R-MC.  Great memories!  And a great reminder to keep those feelings alive more often than the busy days and stresses of life want to allow.”

That’s what it’s all about. That’s why I do this. It’s not for the features, it’s not about me. It’s about my clients and giving them not only an incredible experience, but pictures that can be timeless heirlooms for their family. Pictures that help them remember their young children as curious little ones, pictures that help them remember why they fell in love.
