Joanie is one of those woman that I just instantly felt a connection with. We have so many of the same interests and values, and I knew from our first conversation that I hadn’t only found a new client, but also a friend. When I was suggesting locations for her and Mark’s engagement session and I mentioned Rockett’s Landing, she was giddy at the idea. What I didn’t know at the time was that Joanie’s rowing club meets there, so the location was one with meaning to her. I absolutely adore it when couples can have their engagement session at a location that means something to them, because it means the images will have more sentimental value.

Without further adieu, Joanie & Mark! Some of the first ones of our time together and I absolutely love them! These two live in Carytown and love Richmond, so I think the urban/industrial feel was perfect for them!  Love the way Mark looks at her!Then, we walked into this abandoned building!  Joanie’s smile is perfect!
