This post, much like my free time in the coming months, will be short and sweet.
And I’ve also informed Matt that he can expect most meals to be either in the crock pot, take-out, or Ramen (a huge contrast in the “Whole Foods Only” phase I was in when we first got married).
Today, I began my internship. Today, I met 23 children with whom I will spend every second of the day with for the next eight weeks. Today, I worked with an amazing mentor teacher who I am excited to have an opportunity to collaborate with.
And tonight, I will sleep well because today wore me out.
I apologize, in advance, for the blogging will have to be on the back burner. Lesson planning, yep, that’s my new favorite.
In the meantime, here’s a sneak peak of a pretty face that will be coming to the blog later this week.
Yay for new life phases!! So proud of you girly! I can’t imagine 23 kids. I have no desire for that, but I’m so thankful you do! You’re going to be awesome in the lives of these kids!
Thanks so much for the support, Karen! It will definitely be a semester of challenges and faith, but it will be so worth it when I finally have those degrees in my hands!
