There have been times this week when I wondered why I decided to continue to pursue my business while I was student teaching.

And then, I began editing some images from last weekends session.

Oh, that’s why.

And then, after that, I had a meeting with a potential bride. I got to sit with her, her Mama, and her bridesmaids and hear her story. How they met, how they fell in love, and the vision she has for her wedding day. I. LOVE. THESE STORIES. It takes me back to our wedding, and I get to relive all the emotions I felt last year when I was the one wearing the bride shoes.

I realize that this internship is going to be hard and time consuming. However, my heart is in my art. My heart belongs to God, who is glorified when I can capture his creation, especially when told by way of a love story.

So I will keep dreaming and working for my business.
