This business has given me an opportunity to give back to the community in really unique ways. Photography is a gift that can be so easily shared, and I feel so blessed to be able to use it in ways to help others! When I learned about The School Sessions, I just knew I wanted to be a part of it. If you didn’t know, my Masters is actually in Elementary Education, so this organization’s mission was really inspiring to me.

On April 12th, I will be joining photographers all across the nation to donate a portrait session to the benefit of the children who attend the E.C.C.A school in Mellier, Haiti. Their original school building was destroyed by the 2010 hurricane that devastated this town. 100% of the proceeds from the photographers who are donating session fees will go to build a brand new, hurricane proof school building for these students.
