Amanda and I have been friends since high school, a friendship that has grown as we have gotten older, attended the same college, and became coworkers at Goddard.
Anyone that knows Amanda, knows that she is so much fun to be around. She’s got a very honest personality, with a silly side that can brighten anyone’s day.
In my opinion, she and Matt are perfect for each other. Matt is the strong, silent type, but when it comes to Amanda, he is so gentle, the way a man should be with the woman he loves. She is his silly, and he is her strong. and they provide the best balance for one another. God knew what he was doing when he matched these two hearts six years ago. Next June, after what will be seven years together, they will (finally) become husband and wife!
Their fur babies came along for their e-session at Historic Jasmine Plantation (y’all KNOW my love for this venue since our wedding was there last July). A huge thanks to Ashley for helping keep the puppies entertained while I worked with Amanda & Matt.

The sun was playing games with my emotions for most of the afternoon, but when it would shine through those trees, we chased it and made the most of it!
This ring? GORGEOUS! Nice job, Matt!
Amanda and Matt have great style. I love the outfits they chose for their session.
There are few things in fashion better than a dress with pockets!
Amanda’s grandmother made this quilt. I thought it was so special to incorporate it into the shoot.
Congratulations, Amanda & Matt! I am so excited for you guys. š
