Should old acquaintance be forgot,

and old lang syne?

For auld lang syne, my dear,

for auld lang syne,

we’ll take a cup of kindness yet,

for auld lang syne.

This shoot was a labor of love, a styled shoot for no reason other than we wanted to be inspired by the art we were creating. Auld Lang Syne is about remembering where you came from while simultaneously awaiting all the promise that lies in the year ahead.

Maybe it’s seeing my little sister in this amazing Badgley Mischka gown in rouge Chanel lips, maybe it’s collaborating with vendors who understand my swooning heart for my art and my business, maybe it’s finally seeing this concept come to life after dreaming about it for half a year. Whatever the case may be, this is one of my favorite shoots ever, and is proof that you need to shoot personal work. Do it to feed your soul and fill up your heart with the love that romanced you into pursuing your passion in the first place.
