They waited ten years for Saturday.
Charlotte and Nik have grown up together, endured a long distance relationship, and came out of it more ready to be married than any couple I’ve ever encountered. Their wedding was ten years in the making. You should have seen Nik’s reaction to Char as she came down the aisle…their union was a truly incredible thing to witness.
Saturday was one of the highlights as my summer, as I had the opportunity to attend my dear friend’s wedding as a guest. Char and I did, however, have an opportunity to do her bridal portraits at Walkerton Tavern last month, and I’m elated to be sharing them with you today! Wait until you see her in her dress, she’s the epitome of a southern belle!
All white bouquet, by Erica at Black Creek (of course). I have a soft spot for all white florals. Char, you are stunning! Char is going to be teaching Kindergarten in her home county of Stafford this fall, those lucky babies! We chose to use a simple red apple in her session. Favorite. Ever. Emily Hudspeth did an incredible job on Char’s hair for these images and on her wedding day!
Beautiful work, Nikki! I love the posing for this beautiful bride!!
