There are so many words.
I’ve written this post in my head a thousand times, most of which were intended to be long winded paragraphs about Hannah. About her sweetness. Her newness. Her beauty.
Yes, she is sweet. Yes, she is brand spanking new. And yes, she is beautiful.
But what I’m most thankful for, is my niece is healthy.
It often isn’t until tragic circumstance strikes someone we know that we take a step back and marvel at our own blessings. Due to recent events with baby Harper, I have been considering all the children that have entered my life in the past few years. Every last one is sweet. They are all beautiful. And thankfully, they are all healthy.
And so for a moment, I questioned why William and Erin? Why Harper?
Then I remembered, it’s not up to me. I’m thankful for that. So very thankful.
“For I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11.
Incidentally, this is Julia’s life verse. I thought it was very fitting. So, without further adieu, meet Hannah Mae Grace.
I pray that we’ll all remember to be ever thankful for the gift of precious life.
