The anticipation that I have felt as I have waited the last two months to share these images probably mirrors the anticipation Kathleen has felt waiting for her wedding day-except she has been waiting eight years to marry Kenny! I am elated to say that on Saturday they finally were wed in New Jersey (their home state), and I’m sure it was as southern and sweet and fabulous as Kathleen has always dreamed it would be!
Kathleen and I worked together at Goddard, and I was so honored when she asked me to photograph her in her wedding gown for her bridal portraits. Kathleen is stunning, and she has the sweetest, down to earth personality, and although born and bred in New Jersey, she is a true southern girl at heart.
Enjoy some of my favorites from our time together at Historic Jasmine Plantation! Another Goddard friend, Ms. Terry was a bridesmaid and a huge help that day in helping Kathleen get ready and everything set up for the shoot. A big thanks also goes to Charlotte for assisting me that day as well! Kathleen, your heart is just as stunning as you look in these images. Your new husband (YAY) is such a lucky man. Thanks to Erica at Black Creek Flowers and Sweets for always delivering when I’m in need of a bridal bouquet!
