The winds outside are RAGING!
It makes me really thankful for our little home. Our tiny little apartment isn’t much, but it’s so special to us. It has been our first home together. Our first shared space. The place we brought Pup home to. The place we put up our first Christmas tree.
When the storms outside are fierce, it’s our safe haven.
That, and each other.

The weather this week, much like life, has been crazy unpredictable. The snow pictures below are from just last Friday afternoon, and today, it was 75 degrees! Welcome to Virginia!
Thea won’t be a puppy forever, so I know one day when she’s an old girl, I’ll cherish these images of the first time she saw snow. I’ll remember how she barked and growled and fussed and howled as the flakes fell all around her. I’ll remember how she picked up her paws to try to avoid getting wet. I’ll remember having to drag her away from whatever smelled so great under that holly bush. I’ll remember this apartment. Our first home.
Sweet, snowy Pup.
The weather outside tonight is frightful, but in here?
We’re delighting in each other.
